The impact international students have on the UK Economy:
As well as enriching our campuses and creating a diverse and multicultural community, international students remain a significant net contributor to the UK economy.
Recent figures show over the period from 2018/19 to 2021/22, international students contribution soared from 拢31.3 billion to 拢41.9 billion. Their spending also stimulates various sectors, including hospitality, retail, accommodation, and transportation, creating job opportunities and bolstering local businesses.
This reaffirms their status as invaluable and that our students play a crucial role in maintaining the UK’s economic stability and growth.
